about

I wrote and recorded all this and then Clare put the drums down. Kind of a backward process but that's how it happened. I see it as a Marc Bolan type o' boogie.

lyrics

sometimes you can see yourself
you know
its winter morning and you’re getting your boots on
theres so much to do
you don’t have the time to stop and see your self
you're deep into life
way inside
you’re heavily connected to the future
sometimes you can see yourself
mostly you’re just flyin blind
you know this when you catch yourself
when you see yourself through a window
you’ don’t know you’re there
you’re carryin on like nothins happening
like you’re by yourself
its funny
you feel you could leave yourself a message
sometimes you can see yourself
you can’t help it
you slip out of time
you don’t want to
but you do
sometimes you can see yourself see yourself
thats when it gets tricky
you rush back to what you were doin before
